I have been trying to move towards a complete plant based way of eating for awhile . I'm an 82 year old women who was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer in April this year i was very disappointed as i have had a very good food diet for many years which did included dairy and fish .Anyway i decided to go full plant based way of eating with many cancer fighting vegetables in my journey to get better. This has not been hard for me as i felt very good with this plan. I love this book has lots of information but the recipes are really good so it's exciting for me learning more about placing different veg etc together. I would recommend this book to anyone beginning the journey. I also listened to Alan Desmond talk on utube which lead me to purchasing his book and i'm so glad i have. Never too old to learn. I've been on the WFPB lifestyle for two years - it's definitely the way to go. Dr. Desmond explains how it works and it does work, that's for sure. I'm in the graphics business and I was disappointed with their font choice - hard to read and too small.
